We’re delighted to share with you full details of our exciting new high frequency pulse radar product, the ScanRad, which was launched at the SMM exhibition in Hamburg in September 2016.
Typically for use on chemical carriers, product carriers, barges and in industrial applications, the ScanRad is a high performance instrument for measurement of level/ullage in tanks.
With ease of installation and use, and with radar self-test during power up and an easy 2-wire connection, the ScanRad combines high performance with a competitive price. The radar is fully integrated with the Surveyor system and the specially developed software enables any echoes to be filtered from obstacles in the tank to ensure an accurate reading. As you’d naturally expect, the ScanRad comes with full marine certifications and approvals. And unlike most of radars in the market, ScanRad features no antenna exposed to cargo vapours, compact design, virtually no signal dead zone, and can therefore be also used to replace any other radar gauge.
